Three Answers
(1) You have been a monarchy for too long, would you like a constitution and a democratically elected head of state instead?
(2) Lots; we cannot live alone as individuals, we must club together in communities but for those communities to work there is only one way: creating strong democratic systems. Otherwise communities will always be dominated by the loudest, the strongest, the one with least scruples, not by fairness, justice and compassion
(3) MPs no longer represent the people, they are so remote; and also as a single voter I have no power at all – we want proportional representation, a federal state (so all parts of UK can govern themselves to some extent) and MPs who must have had experience of ‘real’ work before they’re allowed to stand as an MP.
