Three Answers

(1) Thank you. Swiftly followed by a promise to keep my word and set about implementing the positive changes set out in my election manifesto on everything from protecting public services like our NHS and our schools from privatisation to creating new jobs at a living wage, from tackling the housing crisis to action on climate change.

(2) Yes – because the future matters, we all have a voice and the decisions we make today can help build the kind of society we want tomorrow.

(3) For the first time in human history the very health of the planet is in the balance; austerity has hit the poor hardest and women most of all; inequality is growing; democracy is in crisis; and because by standing together we can turn things around and make a real difference.
